Terlingua House is located in the heart of the desert mountain country of West Texas. This unique guesthouse is like having your own personal resort for the price of a nice hotel room in a city. It is a three-bedroom, two-bath, adobe-style property with full kitchen; each located in a separate building. This layout enables you to socialize and dine together and retreat to the privacy of your own separate rooms for some solitude.
The "Fairfax" room consists of a queen-sized bed and two full beds. This room has a sitting area with a loveseat and several chairs to enjoy getting away from it all, but with all the comforts of home. This room shares a bathroom with the Studio.
The "Gin" room, across from the kitchen, has a beautiful king-sized bed and a twin pull-out couch, as well as two very comfortable chairs for relaxing in and taking in the amazing artwork. There is also a desk that doubles as a makeup table with lighted mirror. The Gin room has a large attached bathroom.
The “Studio” has two double beds and a sitting area. The Studio is the “honeymoon suite” of the property with a beautiful view looking onto the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend National Park.
The fourth room is the kitchen with a built in daybed on one end. The kitchen is complete with refrigerator, outside gas grill, deep freeze, stove, microwave, dishes and silverware. We also have installed a dishwasher and new front loading washer and dryer. Complete linens and towels are also provided.
